How to Enrol at Oteha Valley

The school is accepting enrolments for children from Year 1 through to Year 6.  We would appreciate knowing about New Entrant children in advance.  Shortly after your child's 4th birthday parents should fill out the Preliminary Enrolment Form.  You will then be contacted during the term prior to your child's 5th birthday to begin pre-school visits.

At this stage the school is only accepting out-of-zone applications for children of siblings in the two satellite classes, siblings of current and past students, and children of staff members.  Applications close on the second to last Friday of each term, to enrol in the following term.  For places in 2011 the closing dates for applications are:  01 April for Term 2;  01 July for Term 3;  and 01 October for Term 4;  Application forms are available at the school office and on this website.

The boundaries of the home zone are:
Starting from the intersection of Kewa Road (included) and Lonely Track Road travel east along Lonely Track Road to East Coast Road. Turn south along the centre of East Coast Road (even numbers 816-1050) until turning west into Ponderosa Drive. Include Margaret Henry Crescent before turning south into Fernhill Way (include numbers 71,70 and above). At the intersection of Crimson Park turn west across country to the end of Lismore Way and into Medallion Drive (include numbers 61,88 and below). Turn south along the centre of Medallion Drive, then west along the centre of McClymonts Road to the Northern Motorway overbridge. Head north along the northern motorway to the Lonely Track Road overbridge.
There is currently an agreement with Albany Primary School's Board of Trustees that the subdivisions in the Gills Road/Albany Heights area are a shared part of both schools' zones.
