Student Council

The Student Council are a group of students elected by their classmates to represent their ideas for improving our school.

Amber wrote:

The Student Council has been working hard to do things to improve our school.  One of our ideas was to have playground markings like hopscotch and 4 square, so that we had new games to play at lunchtimes.  These have been done and everyone is enjoying them.

We also decided we would like seating around our Tattlebogle tree and then maybe concrete around our sandpit.  We wrote to the PTA to see if they could help us.  They agreed to pay for the playground markings. 

The next thing we did was design some seating for around the tree.  We have some great designs and are now thinking of ways to raise some money ourselves.

Thank you for all the yummy stickers that were collected.  We are hoping that money could be spent on new soccer nets.

Christmas Disco

When?   

Friday 9th December at lunchtime

Why?   

To raise money to build the seating around our Tattybogle tree. 

Who?  

The whole school

What?   

A sausage sizzle, chips and drinks, great music, dancing.

The Student Council members will run dance competitions, and give out certificates and prizes!

How?  

Bring along lunch money and/or $1 entry fee
