Welcome to Room 16

 I hope you all had a fantastic break and you are ready to work hard and have fun this year.

This term our big focus is learning about Tangata Whenua- The People of the Land. We will be investigating the Treaty of Waitangi and how the New Zealand and Maori culture has been sustained through time. We will learn about some traditional myths and legends, and will create some beautiful Taniwha for our Visual Art this term.

 

A few notices and reminders:

·         Could all museum notices be returned tomorrow Wednesday 15^th Feb.

·         Our assembly will be Wk 6, March 9.

·         Friday will be our Library day this year.

·         Please make sure your hat is at school every day.

·         A drink bottle should be at school every day also.
